Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silvio Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pubert Grimesly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos has his takedown stuffed
and Grimesly counters with a nice double leg into side control. Santos won't be happy with that.
Grimesly tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Grimesly has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Grimesly is staying tight to Santos's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Grimesly is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Santos has escaped the position, nice work there.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Grimesly counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Grimesly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Santos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Grimesly pushes Santos up against the cage in a clinch.
Grimesly has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Santos clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Grimesly controls the position.
Grimesly is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Santos looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Grimesly just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Santos just trying to survive but Grimesly is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Santos is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Grimesly controlling the positon.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Grimesly punches Santos on the ear.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee is taking a good look at Santos as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Grimesly!
Grimesly controlling the position well here. Santos rolled but Grimesly kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Grimesly has Santos flattened out and is raining down punches.

Grimesly is not going to allow Santos to sit and survive in this position.
Grimesly really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Santos.
Santos is trying to stand back up.

Pubert Grimesly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Grimesly gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Grimesly moves into the clinch successfully.
Grimesly prevents a takedown attempt there.
Santos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Grimesly is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Santos to the mat. Santos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Grimesly is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Grimesly circles away from the clinch attempt
and Grimesly counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Santos tries to roll over but Grimesly keeps him under control.
Grimesly throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Grimesly is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Let's hope that Grimesly has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Santos won't allow Grimesly to pass to mount.
Grimesly perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
