And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd shoots in but no luck this time.
No luck for Boyd with that takedown attempt.
Boyd gets a clinch.
Boyd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boyd throws a series of punches but McKeon avoids them all with ease.
McKeon blocks a head kick by Boyd.
Boyd shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McKeon's guard.
McKeon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boyd can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
McKeon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Boyd!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
