Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lemme Kolk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jj Sarm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sarm has chosen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as his entrance music. Lemme Kolk had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kolk scores with a takedown into Sarm's guard.
Kolk trying to control but Sarm is working from the bottom.
Kolk is really struggling to control Sarm but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Kolk throws and elbow that misses. Sarm uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kolk's guard. Nice move by Sarm!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sarm throws a strike but Kolk rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Sarm keeping full guard, as Kolk tries to pass.
Kolk prevents Sarm from getting back to his feet.

Kolk wants to pass the guard but Sarm is keeping the position.

Kolk controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Sarm looking for a sweep. Not yet Sarm, not yet.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Kolk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sarm dives on top into guard.
Kolk is trying to control the position but Sarm postures up.
Kolk wants to sweep here but Sarm controlling him for the moment.

Sarm drops back looking for a leg! Kolk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kolk manages to kick Sarm off! Sarm jumps back into Kolk's guard.

Kolk manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Kolk has hold of Sarm's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sarm manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Sarm wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kolk.

Kolk unloads with some shots from mount but Sarm bucks and avoids them well.
Kolk wants to control the pace but Sarm is squirming around nicely.

Kolk is working for a guillotine from mount but Sarm frees his head quite easily.
Sarm wants to hold on but Kolk pushes him away.
Kolk misses with a head shot.
Sarm tries to lock up and control but Kolk gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Poor strikes thrown by Kolk there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kolk jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sarm manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Kolk is looking to take a break and control but Sarm is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sarm is pushing Kolk's head away, looking to escape. Kolk manages to hold on to the position though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kolk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sarm keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sarm ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sarm no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kolk advances to half guard.

Kolk is looking for a kimura but Sarm is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kolk to get the leverage.
Sarm is breathing heavily.
Kolk missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Sarm is looking to control Kolk's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sarm avoid being mounted?
Sarm is not content to let Kolk control the position.
Kolk moves nicely into side control.
Sarm is looking for a sweep.
Kolk misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Kolk decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sarm to his feet.
Kolk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sarm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kolk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sarm swivels and escapes.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kolk.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lemme Kolk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sarm throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kolk closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Sarm leaves Kolk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kolk stalks Sarm and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sarm's face. Sarm staggers backwards, shaken.
Kolk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sarm swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kolk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kolk has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sarm is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Kolk avoids the attempt from Sarm to control.
Kolk wants to control the pace but Sarm is squirming around nicely.
Sarm holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kolk tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Kolk cracks Sarm with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's time! Kolk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kolk tries to keep at a distance but Sarm has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kolk has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sarm avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Sarm has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kolk is trying to keep an underhook but Sarm manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lemme Kolk.

Sarm has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kolk uses from the top position.

Well Kolk has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
