Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Unitas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Art Vandelay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Unitas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Art Vandelay! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Unitas takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Unitas shoots in looking for a takedown. Vandelay tries to sprawl out of it but Unitas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vandelay manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Vandelay tries to clinch there but Unitas circles away.
Vandelay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Unitas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vandelay is trying to defend but Unitas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Unitas seems to be looking for submissions.
Vandelay tries to get to full guard but Unitas has control of the leg. Unitas wants to take a breather but Vandelay is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Unitas is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Unitas tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vandelay knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Vandelay is staying active underneath Unitas, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
David Unitas has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Unitas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Vandelay doesn't manage to clinch there - Unitas circles away.
Vandelay gets caught flat footed, as Unitas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Unitas is stalling in the full guard. Unitas wants to pass the guard but Vandelay is keeping the position. Vandelay keeping moving, preventing Unitas from controlling successfully. Vandelay being controlled here, momentarily. Vandelay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Unitas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of David Unitas. Unitas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Unitas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Unitas looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Vandelay! Vandelay is trying to stand up. Unitas working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Unitas is working for a guillotine from mount but Vandelay frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vandelay keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Unitas throws some wild stikes that Vandelay manages to avoid easily.
Unitas wants to control the pace but Vandelay is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Unitas is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Vandelay is forced to tap! Great finish!
