The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson keeps Barbosa at a distance using the push kick.
Barbosa takes one on the button.
Barbosa avoids the head kick by Anderson.
Anderson is looking to clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barbosa crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Anderson - the referee stops the clock and Barbosa gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Anderson. Barbosa manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Tiago Barbosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barbosa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Anderson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Anderson lands with a hook. Barbosa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Barbosa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Anderson tries to escape but Barbosa is in control.

A nice inside leg kick there by Anderson. That's going to slow Barbosa down.
Anderson lands a head kick. Barbosa smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Anderson lunges at Barbosa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barbosa's hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A slapping body kick lands there for Anderson.
Barbosa drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Anderson lands with an uppercut that bounces Barbosa off the cage and back into rage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Anderson.
Barbosa closes the distance but Anderson moves to the side
and Anderson counters with a body kick that stops Barbosa in his tracks momentarily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barbosa is defended easily by Anderson.
Anderson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Anderson clobbers Barbosa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Barbosa takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Barbosa tries to clinch up.
Barbosa takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The crowd cheers as Anderson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Barbosa doesn't seem phased though.

Nice uppercut lands for Anderson. That snapped Barbosa's head back.

Anderson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Barbosa blocks it with crossed arms.
Anderson pushes off an throws an elbow but Barbosa leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Anderson is pressed up against the cage. Barbosa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Anderson down to the mat. Anderson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Barbosa takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Anderson lands a head kick!

Puff Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Barbosa has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
