Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rover Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Quinlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is Desperado by Los Lobos. A fine choice. Quinlan has chosen Suspect Device as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinlan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rover Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quinlan doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Quinlan keeps the fight on the outside.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gracie tries to score a body lock takedown but Quinlan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Quinlan taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Quinlan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Quinlan lands with a short shot to the head.
Quinlan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gracie blocks it with crossed arms.
Gracie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Still in the clinch, Quinlan scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gracie is trying to force a seperation but Quinlan has the dominant position.
Nice elbow from Quinlan.
Gracie is looking to control Quinlan's arms but Quinlan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gracie has his back to the cage.
Gracie digs a right hand into Quinlan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Quinlan's gas tank.
Quinlan trying to stall but Gracie improves his position.
Gracie is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Quinlan is keeping busy.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quinlan walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Quinlan keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gracie drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gracie as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Quinlan screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gracie! Nice submission victory there!
