Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Oriah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fat Ronaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fat Ronaldo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Oriah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fat Ronaldo!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oriah shoots in and drives through. Ronaldo sprawls well.
Ronaldo tests Oriah's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Adam Oriah has been cut.
Oriah throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Oriah swats away the attempt to clinch by Ronaldo.
Ronaldo looks to land a left hand but Oriah moved out of range nicely.
A decent looking cross lands there for Oriah.
Ronaldo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oriah closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ronaldo wants to get back to his feet but Oriah drags him back down.
Ronaldo avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Oriah.
Ronaldo tries to escape but Oriah is in control.

Oriah is trying to get an arm triangle but Ronaldo is defending well.
Oriah will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ronaldo is pushing Oriah's head away, looking to escape. Oriah manages to hold on to the position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Oriah creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ronaldo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Oriah has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oriah throws a hook to the side of Ronaldo's head but Ronaldo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A right-left combo lands from Oriah.
Ronaldo clinches up with Oriah and pushes him back against the cage.
Oriah is trying to break the clinch but Ronaldo is controlling him.
Ronaldo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Oriah's efforts to push away.
Ronaldo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oriah misses with a hook
enabling Ronaldo to counter with a crisp jab.
Oriah misses with a looping left.
Oriah tries to bum rush Ronaldo with a series of wild strikes but Ronaldo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ronaldo throws a big shot that misses.
Oriah fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ronaldo avoids it really well and circles away.

Oriah misses with an uppercut
and Ronaldo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Oriah staying out of range there.
Ronaldo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Oriah.
Oriah ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ronaldo tries a head kick but it misses.
Oriah waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ronaldo.

and Ronaldo counters with a left to the body.
Ronaldo is looking to clinch.
Oriah slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Ronaldo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Ronaldo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Oriah!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oriah sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Oriah trying to hold on to Ronaldo's head to control him but Ronaldo postures up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Fat Ronaldo wasn't active enough on the ground.
Oriah shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ronaldo defends it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oriah has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ronaldo is working away from the top position though.
Oriah missing with punches from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ronaldo decides to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fat Ronaldo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Ronaldo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Oriah to the mat! Oriah manages to get full guard.
Ronaldo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ronaldo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Oriah is rocked!
Ronaldo rushes Oriah and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Oriah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ronaldo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ronaldo catches Oriah with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Oriah forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
