Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Vanbelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanbelt comes to the cage accompanied by Meet the Monster. Cedric Vanbelt has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cedric Vanbelt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bam Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanbelt is looking to clinch but Griffin is avoiding it.
Vanbelt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Griffin misses with a few strikes there.
Griffin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Griffin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vanbelt's waist but Vanbelt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Griffin off to one side.
Griffin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vanbelt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Griffin misses with a two punch combination.

Vanbelt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Griffin regains full guard. Nicely done.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vanbelt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vanbelt forces his way into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Vanbelt looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Griffin moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vanbelt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Griffin, up you get!

Vanbelt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Griffin's guard.

Vanbelt stands up from guard. Let's bang!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Griffin looks gassed!

Vanbelt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Vanbelt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Vanbelt is landing with some decent strikes but Griffin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Griffin is bucking up trying to escape but Vanbelt cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Vanbelt lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Griffin is rocked!
Vanbelt is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Griffin is still in real trouble! Can Vanbelt finish him?
Vanbelt loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Griffin scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Vanbelt land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Vanbelt stands and salutes the crowd.
