Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruud Blaylock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Mohamadu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohamadu has chosen ice cube - Steal The Show as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mohamadu closes the distance and clinches.
Mohamadu is looking to break free of the clinch but Blaylock has double underhooks.
Blaylock stalls.
Mohamadu utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Mohamadu scores with a shoulder strike.

Blaylock pulls guard.
Mohamadu wants to stand but Blaylock is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mohamadu stands up out of Blaylock's guard for a moment - Blaylock manages to land a nice upkick.
Blaylock is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Blaylock has a closed guard, preventing Mohamadu from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Mohamadu counters with a series of strikes. Blaylock will be more careful next time no doubt.

Blaylock goes for a takedown attempt but Mohamadu pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Blaylock shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mohamadu tries to kick Blaylock off but Blaylock keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Mohamadu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blaylock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mohamadu takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Mohamadu wants to stand but Blaylock has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Blaylock manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mohamadu manages to get himself to full guard.
Mohamadu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Blaylock controls the pace.

Blaylock is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Blaylock is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Blaylock thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blaylock has an Americana. Mohamadu didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Blaylock is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Blaylock hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
