Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Big Ray USA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Pirker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Big Ray USA!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Pirker!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pirker gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by USA as Pirker tries to tie him up.
USA tries for a takedown but Pirker manages to get underhooks.
USA is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pirker pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Pirker swings wildly with an uppercut but USA uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pirker gets control of USA's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pirker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
USA throws a strike but Pirker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pirker wants to control from the top but USA keeps moving.
USA punching from the bottom - just letting Pirker know he's still in a fight.

USA had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pirker defends it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pirker controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
USA is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pirker is controlling him.

USA looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
USA really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
USA is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Pirker trying to control the position from guard on top but USA is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
USA knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pirker on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Thomas Pirker was stalling too much, according to the referee.
USA misses with a takedown attempt - Pirker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

USA throws an overhand right that lands on Pirker's shoulder, as Pirker tries to avoid the shot.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

USA lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
USA throws a right and a left that Pirker avoids nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pirker frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

USA closes the distance looking to clinch

and Pirker moves into the clinch.
USA is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pirker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
USA tries to pull guard but Pirker holds him up against the cage and eventually USA drops back down to his feet.

USA jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pirker walks away with a smile on his face. USA gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Pirker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pirker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

USA is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
USA throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

USA will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Thomas Pirker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

USA throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
USA controls Pirker momentarily but Pirker frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Pirker rushes USA and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
USA changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pirker fights it off and pushes away nicely.

USA escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pirker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

USA working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pirker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pirker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

I've got Pirker winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
