Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santella gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Santella tries to land knees in the clinch but Stone avoids the damage to the body.
Stone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Santella gets underhooks to prevent Stone's takedown attempt.
Santella is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Stone has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Santella is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Santella works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Santella wants to stand but Stone has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Santella is pressing down on Stone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stone is holding on for now.

Santella wants to advance to full mount but Stone doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Santella chips away with some ground and pound.
Stone is looking for a triangle but Santella pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stone looking for a guillotine here but Santella defends easily.

Santella slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Santella sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Stone doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Santella paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Stone - great work!
