Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Cabollaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Russow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Russow!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabollaro's jab looks to have found its range, popping Russow under the eye.

Cabollaro could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Russow is trying to push Cabollaro away but Cabollaro has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Cabollaro is pushing Russow up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Russow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cabollaro walks away with a smile on his face. Russow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Russow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cabollaro lands with a nice combination. Russow backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Michael Russow has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Russow takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Cabollaro moves into the clinch.

Cabollaro wants the takedown. Russow is fighting it off but Cabollaro persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Russow's guard against the cage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Russow is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Cabollaro frees his head nicely. Oh but Russow has switched to an armbar! Cabollaro is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
