Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jordan Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keiko Nakatomi!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa J�rvil�inen and Marco Blurstr�m.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakatomi connects with a single shot there.
Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nakatomi.
Nakatomi takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Nakatomi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones.
Nice body punch from Nakatomi.
Jones misses with a takedown
letting Nakatomi counter with a right hand.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nakatomi pinned against the cage. Nakatomi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nakatomi counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nakatomi stuffs the takedown.
Jones with a lazy takedown attempt
and Nakatomi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nakatomi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nakatomi swivels and escapes.
Jones has his takedown stuffed
and Nakatomi counters with a nice right hand that sends Jones toppling to the canvas! Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nakatomi finish him?!
Jones is rocked!
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nakatomi scores with a counter punch that sends Jones to the canvas! Nakatomi smells blood - he's punishing Jones with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jones has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keiko Nakatomi!
