The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva Alves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelevra moves away.
Silva Alves punishes Kelevra's body with a nice straight punch.
Silva Alves tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kelevra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva Alves somewhat.

and Silva Alves makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kelevra changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva Alves looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Silva Alves is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee asks Kelevra politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kelevra prefers to stall for the moment though.

Kelevra takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kelevra moves forwards but Silva Alves connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kelevra, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
