Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fernandez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Release Yo' Self. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Doug Robertson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez is looking to clinch.

Robertson moves into the clinch successfully.
Robertson lands a shot to the body.
Robertson lands with a light punch inside.
Fernandez swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short uppercut from Robertson.
Robertson lands a nice uppercut.
Fernandez tries to break the clinch but Robertson is controlling the position.
Fernandez is breathing heavily.

Robertson is trying to trip Fernandez. He has hold of a leg but Fernandez is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Robertson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Robertson stands and throws Fernandez's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Fernandez takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Robertson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Fernandez is rocked!
Robertson cracks Fernandez with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Robertson immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Fernandez is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Robertson!
