The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valhalla tries for a takedown but Laihaila circles away easily
and Laihaila cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Phoenix Valhalla has been cut.
Laihaila shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Valhalla as he avoids it easily.
Valhalla shoots and misses
and Laihaila counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Laihaila.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Laihaila drops back looking for a leg! Valhalla is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Valhalla manages to kick Laihaila off! Laihaila jumps back into Valhalla's guard.
Laihaila lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Laihaila trying to control the position from guard on top but Valhalla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laihaila drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Laihaila as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Valhalla screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Laihaila! Nice submission victory there!
