The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Quirke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bo misses with a takedown attempt - Quirke sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Quirke misses the target.
Quirke lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Johnny Bo has been cut.
Left hook, right uppercut from Quirke.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Quirke lands a big uppercut and Bo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bo looks OK. Quirke waves Bo back to his feet!

Johnny Bo's cut is getting worse.
Quirke lands with a straight right. Bo didn't see that one coming.
Quirke scores with a shot to the body.
Bo is breathing heavily.

Quirke cracks Bo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Quirke has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bo to stand back up!

Bo is rocked!

Johnny Bo's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Quirke is stalking Bo. Bo circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Quirke, and it's lights out! Bo really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
