Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Sutter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hogan Robson!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sutter throws out the jab.
Sutter cracks Robson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sutter. Robson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sutter throws a jab when Robson was well out of range.
Sutter throws a low kick, looking for Robson's leg but Robson calmly moves out of range.
Robson fails with an attempt to clinch.

Robson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Robson tries to throw a body punch but Sutter avoids it by throwing Robson back against the cage.
Sutter on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sutter stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Robson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

With the fighters up against the cage, Robson throws an elbow but misses.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sutter digs a right hand underneath Robson's ribcage. Robson let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Sutter is working Robson over against the cage.
Sutter lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Robson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sutter lands a nice shot to the body.
Sutter lands with a light punch inside.
A short body shot lands from Sutter as the two fighters clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Sutter.
Sutter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Robson backwards.
Robson blocks an elbow strike.

Sutter scores with a nice hook to the head.

Sutter gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Sutter is looking to work some ground and pound but Robson has wrist control.
Sutter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sutter wants to pass the guard but Robson is keeping the position.
Sutter trying to control but Robson is working from the bottom.
Sutter looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Eric Sutter wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Sutter keeps the fight on the outside.

Robson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sutter.
Sutter looks to land a right hand but Robson moved out of range.
Sutter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Robson.
No joy there for Sutter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sutter wants to clinch up but Robson keeps it at a distance.
Sutter lands a nice looking body shot.

Sutter has managed to clinch.
Nice body punch from Robson - that landed with a thud.
Sutter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Robson backwards.

Sutter scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Sutter drops down looking for an ankle pick but Robson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sutter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Robson on the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

and Sutter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sutter looks to throw the jab but Robson is out of range.
Robson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sutter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Robson wants to clinch
and Sutter counters with a nice body shot.
Robson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sutter lands a jab-cross combination.
Robson staying out of range there.

Sutter throws a hook but Robson avoids it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Robson walks into a left hand.
Robson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sutter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric Sutter dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Robson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sutter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Eric Sutter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sutter throws a lazy right hand but Robson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Eric Sutter is winning the standup battle so far.
Robson tries to move into range but Sutter moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sutter throws a jab when Robson was well out of range.
Sutter circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Sutter counter with a right hand.


Robson is rocked!
Sutter Throws a clean left jab. Sutter Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Robson's chin! Robson crumbles to the ground and Sutter follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Sutter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Eric Sutter!
