Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brook Bonix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonix's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "Let It Roll". Jeff Grant has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grant closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bonix quickly recovers to half guard.
Bonix gets back to full guard.
Bonix keeping moving, preventing Grant from controlling successfully.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Grant's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Grant loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Grant wants to control from the top but Bonix keeps moving.
Grant throws and elbow that misses. Bonix uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Grant's guard. Nice move by Bonix!
Grant lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bonix!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bonix in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Grant cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bonix knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grant on the ground.
Bonix tries to lock up and control but Grant gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bonix is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Grant raining down shots from the mount!

Bonix is rocked!
Grant loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Bonix scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Grant land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Grant stands and salutes the crowd.
