PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis comes into the arena with Avril Lavigne - Hot blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Ellis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Dance!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dance moves away from the strike by Ellis.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ellis. Dance does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ellis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dance fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ellis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dance shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ellis is trying to defend but Dance finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
