The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Boekee.
Boekee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Boekee tries to clinch but Fax moves out of range.
Boekee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fax circles away.
Zirkster Fax has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Boekee.
Boekee is looking to clinch but Fax is avoiding it.
Fax tries to clinch but Boekee is having none of it.

Fax drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Boekee is not content to let Fax control the position.
Fax taking a break here but Boekee is having none of it and regains half guard.
Boekee tries to kick Fax off but Fax keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Boekee trying to hold on to Fax's head to control him but Fax postures up.
Boekee wants to get back to full guard.
Boekee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fax postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boekee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fax, into his guard.
Boekee tries to free his leg and advance position but Fax is retaining full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fax looking to control.
Fax keeping moving, preventing Boekee from controlling successfully.

Fax isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Boekee stacks Fax on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Boekee!
Boekee controls the position.

Boekee has hold of Fax's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Fax seems comfortable defending it but Boekee has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Fax is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Fax is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Boekee couldn't care less - he's delighted!
