Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaspar Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Sad But True. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jaspar Davis!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range.
Harris is looking to clinch but Davis is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harris.
Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Harris looks for a takedown but Davis sprawls well.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davis as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Davis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Harris!
Davis trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Harris avoids a series of strikes thrown by Davis.

Davis unloads with some shots from mount but Harris bucks and avoids them well.
Davis fails to advance to Harris's back.

Davis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Harris has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Harris!
Davis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Harris won't allow Davis to get back to his feet.
Harris has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Harris working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Harrisis looking to pass into half guard but Davis pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Davis is in guard.

Harris looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Davis has picked Harris up and slammed him! Harris can't keep hold of the triangle and Davis manages to pass to side control!

Davis tries for a kimura but Harris is defending well.
Harris gets back to half guard.
Harris is staying active underneath Davis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Davis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Davis wants to free his trapped foot but Harris is holding on for dear life with his legs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Davis is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Harris looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Harris covering up well under a series of strikes from Davis.
Harris prevents Davis from getting a body triangle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Harris is having to fend off submission attempts from Davis, who is looking to sink in the choke. Davis doesn't have the hooks in though and Harris manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harris throws a left and a right that both miss

and Davis counters by clinching up.
Harris misses with some punches.
Harris can't get the takedown.
Davis tries for a takedown but Harris manages to get underhooks.
Harris swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Davis wants a takedown but no success here.
Harris misses with some punches.
Harris misses with a punch on the inside.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Davis.
Davis wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Davis tries to score a body lock takedown but Harris shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Frank Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaspar Davis.
Davis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Harris working aggressively here.
Davis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Harris swings wildly with an uppercut but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it.

Harris tries to break free but Davis pushes him back against the cage.
Harris fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Harris misses with a hook from the clinch.

Davis has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Harris regains guard immediately.
Davis is pushing down on Harris's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harris is fighting to maintain full guard but Davis has managed to sneak the leg through.
Davis is trying to control the action in half guard but Harris is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Harris wants to get back to his feet.

Harris keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Davis is stalling here. Harris is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Davis seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Harris has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Harris throws a strike aimed at the side of Davis's head but Davis avoids it well.

Harris is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Davis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Harris goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Davis rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Harris's guard! Nice work there by Davis!
Davis looking to sit in guard and control but Harris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Davis works his way into full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Davis jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Harris is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Harris and Davis has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Harris wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jaspar Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Harris tries to clinch
and Davis counters with a nice uppercut.

Davis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harris was covering up waiting for the punch and Davis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Davis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Harris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Davis drops back looking for a leg! Harris is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harris manages to kick Davis off! Davis jumps back into Harris's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Harris throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Harris has an active guard here but Davis has managed to pass into half guard.
Harris wants to get back to his feet.

Davis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Harris sees it coming and defends easily.

Harris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Davis pulls his head out easily.
Davis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davis trying to control from half guard but Harris is working away.
Davis prevents Harris from improving his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Harris is not content to let Davis control the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jaspar Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Davis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
