Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geoff Pulitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Zabijaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zabijaka has chosen Toony - Los (Feat. Pih & Fabuła) as his entrance music. Pulitz has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Johny Zabijaka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zabijaka pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pulitz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zabijaka moves away.
Pulitz scores with a shot to the body.
Zabijaka closes the distance and clinches up with Pulitz, looking for a takedown. Zabijaka pushes Pulitz against the cage but Pulitz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Pulitz is working an open guard so Zabijaka takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Johny Zabijaka wasn't active enough on the ground.
Zabijaka moves in looking to clinch but Pulitz pushes him off.

Pulitz tries to sprawl but Zabijaka drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Zabijaka is keen to just control but Pulitz is a slippery customer.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
