Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Jango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bon Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jerry Jango!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bon Scott!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jango sprawls well. Jango wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Scott gets slowly back to his feet.
Jango throws a head kick that misses.
Jango swats away the attempt to clinch by Scott.
Jango slaps away a takedown attempt from Scott, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jango.
Jango goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Bon Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Scott shoots in but Jango avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jerry Jango has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bon Scott.
Jango throws a solid leg kick but Scott takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jango.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Jango is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Scott is surviving well by controlling Jango's body position as best he can.
Scott tries to improve his position but instead Jango has taken his back!
Scott looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
I really don't envy Scott right now.

Scott trying to get back to his feet but Jango is in full control for now.
Scott should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Scott tries to roll but Jango sticks to his back.
Scott has hold of Jango's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jango shoots in looking for a takedown. Scott tries to sprawl out of it but Jango keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Scott manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Scott shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jango but Jango pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jango shoots in for a double leg but Scott sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jango. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jango is trying to escape the mount.
Scott tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jango is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Scott controlling from the full mount.
Jango can't escape the position.
Scott blocks Jango's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jango tries to lock up and control but Scott gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Scott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jango can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Scott content just to control the position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bon Scott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jango shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Scott counters with a shoot takedown. Jango fights it but they end up in guard.
Scott tries to stand but Jango is controlling from the bottom.

Jango is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jango has a closed guard, preventing Scott from standing up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bon Scott was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Scott shoots for a takedown but Jango saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A right-left combo lands from Scott.
Jango tries to clinch up.
Scott connects with a body shot that sends Jango's belly button to the back.
Jango with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Scott to score with a decent uppercut.
Scott tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jango manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jerry Jango is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Scott tried to score with a low kick but Jango checks it.

Scott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jango avoids it really well and circles away.
Jango shoots in for a takedown but Scott shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Scott or perhaps it was just good defense by Jango which made him look bad.

Scott shoots in and drives through. Jango sprawls well.

Jango rushes Scott and presses him up against the cage.

Scott changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jango fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Scott leaves Jango with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Jango tries to sprawl out of it but Scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jango manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Scott shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jango but Jango pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jango fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Scott looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jango checks a low kick from Scott.

Jango throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Scott was covering up waiting for the punch and Jango finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Scott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jango stands and throws Scott's legs to the side, diving into side control.

I would just about give that final round to Bon Scott.
I think Scott has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
