Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenichi Uzomaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenichi Uzomaki!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzomaki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hoffman lands with a hook. Uzomaki tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Uzomaki dodges the punch combination from Hoffman.
Uzomaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice sprawl there from Uzomaki as Hoffman shoots in.
Hoffman throws a series of punches but Uzomaki moves out of range.
Hoffman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Uzomaki's waist but Uzomaki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hoffman off to one side.
Uzomaki avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hoffman closes the distance and clinches up with Uzomaki, looking for a takedown. Hoffman pushes Uzomaki against the cage but Uzomaki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Hoffman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Uzomaki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hoffman is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uzomaki stands up and beckons Hoffman to join him on the feet.
Hoffman has a takedown stuffed.

Hoffman takes a swing at Uzomaki's ribcage but misses.
Hoffman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Uzomaki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hoffman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Uzomaki misses with a two punch combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hoffman.
Hoffman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hoffman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Uzomaki was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoffman.
Hoffman blocks a jab.
Uzomaki moves out of range as Hoffman strikes.

and Hoffman counters with a single leg into guard. Uzomaki didn't expect that.
Uzomaki is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Uzomaki throws a series of punches but Hoffman avoids them all with ease.
Hector Hoffman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Uzomaki holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hoffman thows a left - swing and a miss!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Uzomaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hoffman does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Uzomaki moves out of range of the body kick.
A head kick misses from Uzomaki.
Horrible takedown by Hoffman or perhaps it was just good defense by Uzomaki which made him look bad.
Uzomaki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hoffman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Uzomaki counters with a crisp one two that drops Hoffman! Uzomaki thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hoffman to his feet! Hoffman is in big trouble!

and Uzomaki counters with a big slam. Hoffman looks out but Uzomaki is landing strikes to his unconscious opponent! Eventually the ref steps in to save Hoffman from any more punishment. A brutal conclusion to the fight!
