The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron looks to land a combination. Shakanssen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and Iron decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Shakanssen's guard.

Iron is looking to advance position but Shakanssen won't allow it.

Iron thows a huge punch but Shakanssen dodges it nicely.

Iron slips a nice elbow through Shakanssen's hands, connecting with Shakanssen's forehead.

Shakanssen is looking for a sweep. Iron is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Iron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Iron scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Shakanssen?

Iron breaks from Shakanssen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oh Shakanssen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Iron looking for a guillotine from mount but Shakanssen is having none of it.
Iron loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Shakanssen scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Iron land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Iron stands and salutes the crowd.
