The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuclear throws a shot to the body.

Richards misses with a takedown attempt - Nuclear sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Richards shoots in looking for a takedown. Nuclear tries to sprawl out of it but Richards keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nuclear manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
David Nuclear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davey Boy Richards.
Nuclear stalks Richards and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Richards's face. Richards staggers backwards, shaken.
Nuclear bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Richards's head backwards.
Nuclear lands a slapping body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nuclear lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Nuclear connects with a combination that backs up Richards into the cage. Nuclear lands a flurry of punches that gets past Richards's guard. Richards is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Nuclear bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
