Markiewicz comes to the cage accompanied by Twista-Victory or death. Barnes has chosen Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markiewicz drops his hands momentarily and Barnes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Barnes lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Markiewicz throws a head kick that misses.
Barnes moves out of range as Markiewicz throws a body kick.
Markiewicz takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Markiewicz takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Barnes closes the distance and pushes Markiewicz back into the cage.
Markiewicz throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Barnes blocks it with crossed arms.

Barnes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Barnes gets to his feet - Markiewicz follows without any prompting.
Barnes scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Markiewicz doesn't seem bothered though.
Markiewicz is breathing heavily.
Barnes ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Danga de danga de dang - Barnes scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Cory Markiewicz has been cut.
Barnes scores with a punch to the head.
Markiewicz drops his hands momentarily and Barnes needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Markiewicz just on the top of the head. Markiewicz drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Markiewicz - he's done!
