The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rizzo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nickers wants to clinch.
Nickers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rizzo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rizzo stuffs the takedown attempt from Nickers. Nickers gets slowly back to his feet.
Rizzo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nickers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Luis Rizzo has been cut.
Nickers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nickers moves in looking to clinch but Rizzo pushes him off.

Nickers looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Rizzo is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nickers frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Oh Rizzo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nickers drops a big elbow. That's hurt Rizzo! More shots from Nickers and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
