Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wallid Ismail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rebaldo Louza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rebaldo Louza is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ismail looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Louza is fending him off so far but Ismail persists. Nope, Louza circles away and we're back to standing.
Ismail dives in and grabs Louza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Louza pushes down on Ismail's head and hops out.
Louza stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Louza wants it to stay on the feet.

Ismail shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Louza as he avoids it easily.
Louza stalks Ismail and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ismail's face. Ismail staggers backwards, shaken.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Louza throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ismail escapes and throws Louza's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You can see the frustration on Louza's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ismail throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Louza is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ismail has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Louza tries to buck Ismail off but Ismail is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ismail creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Louza sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Louza tries to bench press Ismail off him but Ismail keeps the position.

Ismail is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Louza knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close round but I would say that Wallid Ismail will probably get the nod.

Louza drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ismail manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Louza has Ismail in his guard.

Ismail drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ismail jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Louza has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ismail is proving hard to escape from.

Ismail is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Louza is looking to improve his position.

Ismail is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Louza is just riding it out for now. Ismail eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ismail thows a huge punch but Louza dodges it nicely.

Ismail is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Louza sees it coming and defends easily.
Ismail wants to stand up but Louza is controlling the position.
Ismail slips a nice elbow through Louza's hands, connecting with Louza's forehead.
Louza wants to get back to full guard.
Louza works his way to full guard. Good work.

Ismail won't allow Louza to sweep him here.

Louza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ismail doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ismail manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Louza has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ismail is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Louza.

Ismail wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Louza, who protects the arm well.
