The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krenik scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Krenik lands a jab.
Krenik connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Krenik drops Artukovic with a left and a right! Oh, Artukovic is hurt - Krenik dives into side control looking to finish!

Artukovic is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Krenik is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Artukovic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Artukovic is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Krenik off and has taken his back!

Artukovic is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Krenik defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Krenik is in bad spot here.
Artukovic is trying to stick to Krenik's back but Krenik is turning into Artukovic. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Artukovic's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Krenik.
Artukovic controls Krenik momentarily but Krenik frees himself.

Krenik thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Krenik drops back looking for a leg! Artukovic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Artukovic manages to kick Krenik off! Krenik jumps back into Artukovic's guard.

Artukovic is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Krenik frees his head nicely. Oh but Artukovic has switched to an armbar! Krenik is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
