Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cuco Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - One(S&M). Cuco Perez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez looks for a takedown but Hari sprawls well.
Perez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hari.
Perez is looking to clinch.
Perez blocks a head kick by Hari.
Hari throws a right and a left that Perez avoids nicely.
Perez closes the distance and clinches up with Hari, looking for a takedown. Perez pushes Hari against the cage but Hari circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Perez shoots in but no luck this time.

Hari throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perez.

Horrible takedown by Perez or perhaps it was just good defense by Hari which made him look bad.
Perez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hari as he jumps to the side.
Perez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hari is fending him off so far but Perez persists. Nope, Hari circles away and we're back to standing.
Badr Hari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hari gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Hari managing to block the knees to the body from Perez.
Perez tries to score a body lock takedown but Hari shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hari manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hari tries to stall but Perez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hari is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Perez has denied him.
Hari is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Hari continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Badr Hari.
Hari rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Perez counters with a takedown into side control.
Perez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Perez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hari keeps working.

Perez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hari has escaped the position, nice work there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Perez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hari, who protects the arm well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hari is not content to let Perez control the position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Perez drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Perez seems to have locked his on tight now - Hari screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Perez, as he picks up the win!
