The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilsen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pukama buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Johannes Pukama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pukama breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pukama feints and then cracks Nilsen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nilsen down.
Pukama lands a nice looking body kick.
Nilsen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Pukama drops Nilsen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nilsen looks back up at him and smiles so Pukama waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
An inside leg kick lands from Pukama.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
