The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duchovony lands with a hook. Webb tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Duchovony leaves Webb with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Webb tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duchovony swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A combination from Duchovony does no damage.
Webb tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Duchovony manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Duchovony bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Duchovony throws a leg kick but Webb moved away.
Webb is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Duchovony.

Webb rushes Duchovony and presses him up against the cage.
Duchovony wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Webb wants the takedown. Duchovony is fighting it off but Webb persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Duchovony's guard against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

We're going to have a standup here because Mitchell Webb wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Duchovony goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Duchovony throws a hook but Webb avoids it easily.
Webb keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Duchovony.
Webb doesn't manage to clinch there - Duchovony circles away.
Duchovony connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Duchovony turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Webb shoots in looking for a takedown. Duchovony tries to sprawl out of it but Webb keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Duchovony manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Duchovony lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
No joy there for Webb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Webb takes one on the button.
Duchovony scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Webb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duchovony paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Duchovony misses with a jab, cross combination.
Webb's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Duchovony connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Webb scrambles back to his feet.
Webb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duchovony sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Webb somewhat.
Duchovony throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Webb is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Duchovony tests Webb's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Webb takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Webb fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duchovony goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Mitchell Webb has been cut.
Webb is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Webb ducks right into an uppercut from Duchovony.
Webb has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Duchovony finds it's way round the side to connect with Webb's head.
Good exchange - Duchovony coming out on top.

Webb is rocked!
Duchovony throws an overhand right that drops Webb like a sack of potatoes! Duchovony dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
