Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Twain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Twain has chosen Insane Clown Posse - In Yo Face as his entrance music. Mark Twain will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Twain!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Twain tries to sprawl but Doe drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Twain is trying to stand.
Doe trying to mount his opponent but Twain defends it.
Doe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Twain with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Twain keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doe is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Doe could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Doe is looking to stall here but Twain recovers full guard.
Doe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Twain works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Doe cracks Twain with a solid left hand.

Doe wants to pass the guard but Twain is keeping the position.

Doe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Doe is looking to work some ground and pound but Twain has wrist control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Doe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Twain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Doe is working hard here to advance position.

Doe with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Doe's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Doe postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Doe throwing strikes but missing.
Doe chips away with some ground and pound.
Doe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Doe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Twain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Doe scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Twain is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Doe is controlling him.

Twain wants to stand up but Doe is controlling him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Doe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Doe throwing strikes from guard but Twain blocks nicely.
Doe trying to control the position from guard on top but Twain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Twain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Doe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Twain is keeping the position for now.
Doe trying to control but Twain is working from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Twain preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Doe postures up in Twain's guard and throws a big left but Twain blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Doe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Twain throws a nice head kick!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Doe dives in and grabs Twain's left leg, looking for a takedown. Twain pushes down on Doe's head and hops out.
Twain goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Twain connects with a high kick.
Twain stuffs the takedown attempt from Doe. Doe gets slowly back to his feet.
Twain connects with a high kick.
Twain throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Doe.
Twain lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Doe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Twain swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Doe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doe shoots in for a double leg but Twain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Twain lands with a kick to the temple. Doe shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Twain scores with a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Twain goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A head kick from Twain lands but Doe takes it in his stride.
Doe shoots in looking for a takedown. Twain tries to sprawl out of it but Doe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Twain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Doe.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Twain throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Twain lands a head kick. Doe smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Doe takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Twain lands with a slapping head kick.

Doe is rocked!

Twain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Doe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Twain goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Doe takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fighters circle, before Twain throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Doe's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Twain lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
