The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hainz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nice defenses there by Hainz.
Hainz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Borowski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hainz is looking to clinch but Borowski is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hainz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Borowski.

Borowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hainz circles away quickly and effectively.

Borowski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hainz. Hainz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Borowski throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hainz on the side of the head.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Hainz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Borowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Borowski shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hainz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Borowski throws an elbow but Hainz slips to the side and avoids it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Borowski working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Borowski has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Konrad Borowski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Borowski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hainz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
