Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bronko Nord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bronko Nord!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ron Foster!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nord closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Foster quickly recovers to half guard.
Nord sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Foster defending well though.

Nord is working for a kimura but Foster is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nord trying to control the action but Foster is working from the bottom.

Nord is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Foster defends it well.
It looks like Nord is going to stand back up.

Nord is looking for a kimura but Foster is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nord to get the leverage.
Foster is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nord scores with a couple of nice shots.
Foster is trying to stand.
Foster is refusing to be controlled, as Nord sits in half guard.
Nord is controlling the pace.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Foster manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Foster blocks the body kick.
Foster fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nord looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Foster is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A head kick misses from Foster.
Nord shoots in for a takedown but Foster shows good takedown defense.
Nord is breathing heavily.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Nord.
Foster fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nord has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ron Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foster buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Foster throws a series of punches but Nord moves out of range.
Foster misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Foster gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Foster lands a shoulder strike.
Foster lands with a right to the head.
Nord prevents a takedown attempt there.
Foster lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
A body shot lands from Foster.
Foster scores with a hook to the body.
A short body shot lands from Foster as the two fighters clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nord prevents the takedown attempt.

Foster turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Foster misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Foster is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nord is trying to escape and Foster transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nord is forced to tap! Nice work there by Foster! Very nice indeed!
