Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen Take My Hand as his entrance music. Mitchell Morgan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Diaz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Diaz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries to clinch there but Morgan circles away.

Diaz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown but Morgan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Diaz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Diaz is defended easily by Morgan.

Diaz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Morgan did well to prevent Diaz getting side control.
Diaz passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Morgan!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Morgan's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diaz is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Morgan is surviving well by controlling Diaz's body position as best he can.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morgan wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Diaz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morgan was covering up waiting for the punch and Diaz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Diaz won't allow Morgan to get back to his feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Diaz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Morgan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Diaz has Morgan in his guard.

Morgan stands up and waves to Diaz to follow him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Morgan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Morgan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
