The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hummels shoots in but Wallis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hummels tries to clinch but Wallis moves out of range.
Hummels scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Wallis throws a combination. Hummels tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hummels tries a head kick but it misses.
Wallis tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wallis scores with a body shot.

Hummels moves into the clinch.

Hummels escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wallis fails to land with a series of punches.
Wallis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hummels's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick misses from Hummels.
Jeff Hummels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wallis throws a chopping leg kick but Hummels manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wallis scores with a punch to the head.

Wallis throws a sloppy head kick and Hummels moves out of range easily.
Hummels wants to clinch.
Wallis takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wallis drops Hummels with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hummels! Wallis dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
