Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Rodic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ignacio Rodrigez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodic comes into the arena with Never Walk Alone blaring out of the sound system. Ignacio Rodrigez looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigez tries a head kick but it misses.
Rodrigez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rodic fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rodic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodrigez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rodrigez darts in and clinches Rodic up against the cage.

Rodic is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Rodrigez drops back looking for a leg! Rodic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rodic manages to kick Rodrigez off! Rodrigez jumps back into Rodic's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rodrigez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rodrigez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rodic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rodrigez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rodic has managed to get both his arms back between Rodrigez's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Hrvoje Rodic will probably get the nod.

Rodrigez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
