PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralf Dieter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Worthington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Worthington has chosen Hand Covers Bruise- Trent Reznor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dieter gets a clinch.
Dieter lands an elbow inside that Worthington shrugs off.
Worthington lands a body punch in the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Dieter throws an elbow but misses.
A left hand lands to the body for Worthington.
Dieter creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Dieter pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Worthington manages to break the clinch.
Dieter takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Dieter is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Worthington lands a right hook to the body.
Dieter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Ralf Dieter has been cut.
Decent striking displayed by Worthington there.
Worthington fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dieter on the side of the head.
Worthington scores with a jab.
Worthington connects with a solid leg kick.
Worthington tests Dieter's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Ralf Dieter's cut is getting worse.
Dieter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Worthington lands with a nice body punch.
Worthington lands a body shot.
Dieter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Worthington lands the left hand.
Worthington scores with the left hand. Dieter knows he should have avoided that one.

Ralf Dieter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Dieter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Dieter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Worthington.
Dieter walks into a left hand.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Worthington and Dieter goes tumbling to the canvas! Worthington follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Dieter is rocked!

Jeez, Ralf Dieter's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ralf Dieter's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
