Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bada Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bada Boom!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boom shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Parker pinned against the cage. Parker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Boom shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parker as he avoids it easily.
Boom fails with the takedown.
Frank Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bada Boom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Bada Boom has been cut.
Boom showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Parker.

Boom fails with a takedown attempt.
A head kick from Parker lands but Boom takes it in his stride.

Parker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Boom wants to pass the guard but Parker is keeping the position.

Parker is trying to control the position but Boom postures up.
Parker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Parker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Parker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boom is controlling him.
Parker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boom on the ground.
Parker can't keep his opponent in guard - Boom advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Parker is breathing heavily.

Boom is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parker is just riding it out for now. Boom eventually gives up the hold.
Parker wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Boom has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Parker defend it? Boom steps over the head and cranks it - Parker is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Boom!
