Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derek Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lewis blocks a head kick by Patterson.
Patterson shoots for a takedown but Lewis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Patterson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Patterson tries to stand but Lewis is controlling from the bottom.
Patterson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lewis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
