Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herkku Hernesniemi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iso Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernesniemi comes to the cage accompanied by Dj Khaled - Speedboat music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Susi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hernesniemi to the mat! Hernesniemi manages to get full guard.
Hernesniemi looking for a guillotine here but Susi defends easily.
Hernesniemi keeping moving, preventing Susi from controlling successfully.
Hernesniemi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Susi controls the pace.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Hernesniemi can't escape the position.

Susi throwing strikes and Hernesniemi squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted.

Susi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hernesniemi is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hernesniemi and Susi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Susi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hernesniemi!

Iso Susi dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Susi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hernesniemi counters with a takedown into side control.
Hernesniemi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hernesniemi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Susi wants to free his trapped foot but Hernesniemi is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hernesniemi is squirming around, avoiding Susi's attempts to control the action.
Despite being in the dominant position, Iso Susi just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Hernesniemi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Susi's guard.
Hernesniemi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hernesniemi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Susi has his foot on Hernesniemi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hernesniemi works his way back into a safe position though.
Herkku Hernesniemi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
