Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for OLeary with that takedown attempt.
Hurley fails with the takedown

and OLeary counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hurley won't be happy with that.

OLeary wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hurley, who protects the arm well.

OLeary is thwarting Hurley's attempts to control the position.

OLeary got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hurley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, OLeary has managed to get both his arms back between Hurley's legs - danger averted.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hurley can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hurley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Hurley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hurley controls OLeary momentarily but OLeary frees himself.

OLeary stands and steps away. Hurley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hurley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

OLeary is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hurley reverses the position - he's now on top in OLeary's guard.

OLeary has his foot on Hurley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hurley works his way back into a safe position though.
Danny OLeary is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well OLeary has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
