Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mohammad Epoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monkey Luffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohammad Epoto has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mohammad Epoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Monkey Luffy! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Epoto fails with an attempt to clinch.
Epoto does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Luffy gets a takedown into half guard. Luffy seems to be looking for submissions.
Luffy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Epoto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Luffy wants to pass the guard but Epoto is defending well. Epoto is defending against the submission attempts here by Luffy.
Luffy is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Epoto is trying to get back to full guard. Luffy wants to take a breather but Epoto is having none of it. Epoto regains full guard. Nicely done. Luffy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Epoto is keeping the position for now. Luffy wants to control from the top but Epoto keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Luffy has gone for a leg lock! Epoto slips out almost immediately though and dives into Luffy's guard. Epoto wants to stand and escape but instead Luffy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Luffy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Luffy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Luffy advances to full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Luffy jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Epoto manages to avoid the submission attempt. Epoto gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Epoto wants to control but Luffy is having none of it. Epoto is working to get back to half guard.
Luffy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Epoto has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Luffy controlling the position easily from mount. Luffy throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Epoto is looking to improve his position but Luffy isn't that keen on the idea. Epoto really wants to buck Luffy off and get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Luffy forces the positional change into back control. Luffy is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monkey Luffy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Epoto throws a nice outside leg kick. Nice takedown defense from Epoto. No joy for Luffy on that attempt. Luffy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Luffy shoots in and gets a takedown into Epoto's guard. Luffy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Luffy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Epoto keeping moving, preventing Luffy from controlling successfully. Luffy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luffy slips nicely into half guard. Luffy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Luffy is thwarting Epoto's attempts to control the position. Luffy seems to be looking for submissions.

Luffy thows a huge punch but Epoto dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Luffy seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Epoto has recovered full guard. Luffy drops back looking for a leg! Epoto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Epoto manages to kick Luffy off! Luffy jumps back into Epoto's guard. Luffy won't allow Epoto to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Luffy trying to control but Epoto is working from the bottom. Luffy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Epoto will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Luffy advances to half guard. Luffy working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Epoto's thigh. Epoto counters though and makes it back to full guard. Epoto tries to land a sweep but no joy. Luffy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Luffy pushing down on Epoto's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Luffy in particular looking to stall. Luffy wants to take a breather but Epoto is having none of it. Luffy wants to pass to mount but Epoto is defending the position. Luffy is looking for a kimura but Epoto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Luffy to get the leverage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Epoto tries to get to full guard but Luffy has control of the leg. Luffy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monkey Luffy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Luffy has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Epoto. Luffy dives in and grabs Epoto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Epoto pushes down on Luffy's head and hops out. Epoto moves out of range of the body kick from Luffy.

Luffy takes a swing at Epoto's ribcage but misses. Nice uppercut there from Luffy. Epoto swings away with a leg kick that misses. Luffy checks a leg kick nicely. Luffy keeps the fight on the outside. Luffy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Epoto tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Luffy is in Epoto's guard. Luffy stopping the sweep attempt from Epoto.
That's one minute gone in the round. Epoto pulls Luffy in to control the position. Epoto is trying to control the position but Luffy postures up. Epoto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Luffy on the ground. Luffy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Epoto looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Luffy wants to control from the top but Epoto keeps moving. Luffy slips nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Epoto is in trouble now - Luffy has advanced to mount! Epoto is wriggling around trying to escape.
Luffy has control of Epoto's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Epoto regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Luffy doesn't have the hooks in and Epoto manages to turn into his guard.
Luffy is trying to control the position but Epoto postures up. Luffy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Epoto decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Luffy, up you get! Luffy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Epoto to the mat! Epoto manages to get full guard. Luffy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Luffy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Epoto on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Epoto tries to get out of the position. Epoto keeping moving, preventing Luffy from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Epoto is looking to sweep but instead, Luffy has passed into half guard.
Luffy is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Epoto as he works his way to full guard.
Monkey Luffy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Epoto keeping moving, preventing Luffy from controlling successfully. Mohammad Epoto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Luffy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Monkey Luffy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Luffy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
