Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bert Bainite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny McBride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bainite fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McBride sprawls well initially but Bainite persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bainite thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing McBride to regain full guard.
McBride avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
McBride utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McBride pulls Bainite in close to his closed guard and prevents Bainite from doing any damage or advancing position.
Bainite throws and elbow that misses. McBride uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bainite's guard. Nice move by McBride!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McBride thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
McBride stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bainite swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bainite knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McBride on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
