Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anderson Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joachim Hansen !
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a head kick that misses

and Hansen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hansen advances to half guard.

Hansen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silva won't allow Hansen to pass to mount.
Hansen wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.

Hansen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily.

Hansen stands up out of the half guard.
Hansen throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hansen looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Silva lands with a slapping head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hansen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hansen manages to avoid it.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Hansen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva throws a jab but it's blocked by Hansen .

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hansen takes a kick to the side of the head.
Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva avoids the head kick by Hansen .
Silva tries to land a body kick
and Hansen counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Silva is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Silva scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hansen doesn't seem bothered though.
Hansen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silva's hands.

A decent looking cross lands there for Silva.
Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Hansen counters with a huge head kick that drops Silva! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
