Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saito Shizuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saito Shizuka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shizuka.
Shizuka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.
Shizuka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.
Anderson Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saito Shizuka.
Shizuka shoots in but no luck this time.
Shizuka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Shizuka finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Silva is looking to stand up but Shizuka isn't so interested in that idea.
Shizuka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shizuka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shizuka wants to work for an arm triangle but Silva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Shizuka is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Silva is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Silva flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Shizuka anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Silva and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Shizuka slips an arm under Silva chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Shizuka has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Shizuka is squeezing on Silva like an anaconda would it's prey. Silva fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
