Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warren has chosen London Calling - The Clash as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Brookins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Frank Warren! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brookins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Brookins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Brookins prevents Warren from standing back up.
Brookins is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Warren defends it well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Warren can do anything to dispel that myth. Warren is looking to control Brookins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Warren avoid being mounted? Brookins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brookins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warren has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brookins is working away from the top position though. Warren is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because George Brookins just wasn't active enough. Brookins misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Excellent takedown into side control there by Warren. Brookins manages to work his way to half guard, despite Warren's best efforts. Warren thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Warren not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Warren winds up and cracks Brookins with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Brookins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Warren is working away from the top position though. Warren throwing shots but Brookins is blocking nicely. Brookins throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Warren really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brookins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Warren thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brookins's head. Brookins wants to get back to his feet. Warren throws a strike but Brookins manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Warren tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). George Brookins!
